The Black Burlesque School offers an 8-session course, taught by working professional Black Burlesque artists of international acclaim.

A Black Burlesque School?

Yes!

You can attend the entire course, or take a drop-in class, if space is available.

Classes include:

Floorwork, Technique, Musicality, Costume & Poise, Choreography, Sing & Fling / Commercial, Movement & Flow, Clowning

Do you need dance experience to attend?

No!

All you need is a passion for being playful and performance, we'll teach you the rest!

Ready for a new profession?

Our course lays the foundations to join The Cocoa Butter Club's new Black Burlesque company for

professional performance bookings.

I don't want to be a professional!

No pressure! You can still attend the course.

There will be an optional performance opportunity at the end of the course, where you can show off your new skills... if you like!
